ISO

The Moss Select ISO color profile and color management system is the highest quality, most cost effective way to reproducibly create accurate and brilliant colors. It means Moss Select will always maintain its equipment to an ISO color standard and therefore always apply an ISO profile to incoming artwork. To know what colors Moss will print and to specify these colors in your artwork, order the Moss Select Color Chart and see thousands of colors and get the CMYK values off the chart to input into your artwork. DPI

The relative importance of image clarity coming from art resolution is very subjective. Moss Select uses 75 DPI at full scale as a level where below this you may start to see loss of image sharpness when viewing a print up close. The lower you go on DPI the more sharpness you will potentially lose. The other factor that affects visible sharpness is viewing distance. As the viewing distance increases, the impact of lower DPI resolution becomes much less apparent. For example, at viewing distances of 6 feet, 50 DPI image resolution is perfectly fine. So, you should evaluate your particular application and decide what resolution makes most sense for you. Also note that ordering sectional proof prints at full scale for areas of art with potential resolution concerns is a great option to evaluate concerning art.

RGB

The Moss Select printing presses use CMYK ink sets and thus artwork printed by us needs to have all colors specified using CMYK values. It’s easy to change artwork from RGB to CMYK but doing so often changes the color hue shown on a monitor. You can do this before submitting artwork or Moss Select can do this automatically for you. To know what colors Moss will print and to specify these colors in your artwork, order the Moss Select Color Chart and see thousands of colors and get the CMYK values off the chart to input into your artwork.
